Racing Licences

Want to race at regional or national level? Then buy a Full Racing Licence with your Gold or Silver British Cycling Membership.

You will need a Full Racing Licence to earn points on the British Cycling Road & Track Rankings or the British Cycling Mountain Bike Rankings.

The table below shows the cost of a Full Racing Licence for 2010.

Remember, a Full Racing Licence is an optional add-on when you buy a Silver or Gold membership.

What if I don't buy a Racing Licence?

Riders who don't buy a Full Racing Licence are automatically awarded a free Provisional Racing Licence. A Provisional Racing Licence is free of charge and allows participation in some entry level cycling events. If you are an Everyday Cycling member you will not be riding competitively right now, so your membership does not include any type of Racing Licence.
