
Ipswich and the surrounding area is probably best known for its association with the farming community and the rural nature of Suffolk as a whole creates a perfect environment for cycling, be it on a sporting or recreational basis. The abundance of farm tracks which have evolved into lanes mean you are more likely to encounter a tractor than a motor car on some parts of the road network.

Cornwall's spectacular coastline is the focus for three new self-guided cycling tours from a specialist holiday operator. Cornish Cycle Tours has created two new routes for 2010: the seven day South Coast Tour visits many of Cornwall's famous landmarks; while two versions of the Coast to Coast Tour link the tranquil south coast and spectacular surfing beaches of the North Cornish coast in a circular route.
